We were challenged with transforming this turn of the century home with deteriorating facades and outdated interior spaces into an updated modernized shingle style residence. Included in the renovation was adding several new additions. A new covered entry sets the tone welcoming everyone to the house. The covered entry includes a new Laundry and support spaces above on the second floor. We also introduced a new third story space which spans the depth of the house while opening up never before seen views of the York River.
This space is used as a multi-purpose family room. In addition we also added a new mudroom and two car attached garage. Above the garage is a guest suite with large bathroom. Off the master we added a deck which becomes a new mechanical space below. All of the existing interior spaces are re-done and modernized including a new kitchen, secondary entry, pantry and storage areas. The exterior renovation includes all new windows, doors, siding and roof.
