Mountain Shadows

This retirement home is designed for our clients to be able to live solely on the main first floor level. All of the focal point spaces take advantage of distant mountain views which appear beyond an open meadow. The compact L-shaped configuration of the floor plan ensures that all of the spaces are in close proximity of each other. A welcoming covered entry porch greets all who visit the house. Upon entering, the vaulted living room is only steps away and the mountains are immediately visible. The Living room anchors one end of the house and is visually open to the Dining and Kitchen areas. The sizeable Kitchen is located to view the drive court as well as looking toward the mountain view opposite. A Butler's Pantry links the kitchen to the back service hallway. There is a more private Study where our clients can relax to watch TV, read a book or work at a custom built desk which anchors the back wall of the space.

The first floor Master Suite anchors the opposite end of the house and a portion of it is contained in a bay which faces the view.
The Master Suite has a large walk-in closet and generous bath room. Located on the view side between the Master Suite and Living Room is a wide screen porch. There is enough room in the screen porch for a sitting area and a place to have informal dinners. Completing the first floor is a laundry room, mud room, support storage areas and an oversized two car garage.
The second floor spaces include two Bed Rooms, a full shared bathroom and Common space for sitting.
Aesthetically the house is modern shingle style with a majority of 2/1 double hung windows and an earth tone color palette.
